Marilyn Bergman, wife, mother, grandmother and one of the most respected figures in music. A multi-award-winning lyricist with three Academy Awards, four Emmy Awards, three Grammy Awards, and one Cable Ace Award among others. For over sixty years in collaboration with her husband, Alan, Marilyn won Oscars for the songs, "The Windmills of Your Mind,” "The Way We Were,”and for the score for "Yentl.” Since their first Oscar nomination in 1968, they have been nominated sixteen times -- for such songs as "It Might Be You" from "Tootsie,” "How Do You Keep The Music Playing?"from "Best Friends,” "Papa, Can You Hear Me?" and "The Way He Makes Me Feel" from "Yentl" and "What Are You Doing the Rest of Your Life?” from “The Happy Ending.” “The Windmills of Your Mind" and "The Way We Were” also received Golden Globe awards and “The Way We Were” earned two Grammys. The four Emmys are for "Sybil," "Queen of the Stardust Ballroom,” “Ordinary Miracles” and “A Ticket to Dream.” In 1996 they were nominated for a Golden Globe Award, an Academy Award and a Grammy Award for their song “Moonlight”performed by Sting from the Sydney Pollack film, “Sabrina.”

Siedah Garrett
Singer/Songwriter Siedah Garrett was first discovered by Quincy Jones and has toured internationally as a backup and featured vocalist with Jones, Michael Jackson, Madonna, and others. She is best known for co-writing Michael Jackson’s mega-hit “Man in the Mirror,” and for having recorded as MJ’s duet partner on his chart-topping BAD album lead single “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You”. Garrett won a GRAMMY Award and earned anOscar nomination for her original song “Love You, I Do” performed by Jennifer Hudson in the film adaptation of the Broadway musical, Dreamgirls, and her second Academy Award nominationcame as the result of co-writing the song “Real In Rio” with Sergio Mendes, from the animated film, Rio. Indigo Girls
Amy Ray and Emily Saliers began singing together during high school and have remained partners ever since, adopting the moniker Indigo Girls in 1985. That partnership has proven profitable for the folk rock duo. Epic records signed them to a recording contract in 1988. The following year, they released the eponymously titled Indigo Girls (1989), featuring the hit single “Closer to Fine.” The album earned Grammy nominations for Best New Artist and Best Contemporary Folk Recording—they received the Grammy in the latter category.
